I do miss my family and my friends expecially my friends from my church in Evadale,Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle..A.K.A....C.A.T....anyway hope everyone is recovering from the hurricane I have been praying for all of you guys and gals...ya can take the girl out of TX but ya can't take the TX out of a girl...LOVE ALL OF YOU...GOD BLESS
Comments1I was distressed to hear about the situation at Evadale from Rita, and I'm hoping things are better now. I lived there from 1954 till 1962, and finished the 8th grade that year, before moving to the Portland Oregon area, and later to Seattle. I had some really good friends there during those years, and I do hope everyone is doing ok. In addition to academic classes at school there, I learned to play the trombone, was in the band, and kept chickens for several years at our home. I'll never forget the Big Thicket as a wonderful natural playground for a kid. We have wilderness here too, but its very different. Anyway, I'm thinking of you all these days, and take care of yourselves.

Comments1hey, just wanted to stop in and tell everyone that I miss them. I moved back to Illinois a few weeks ago after my lovely little accident July 4, 2005. To Evadale Voluntary Fire Department, thanks a bunch, you saved my life. And thanks to the class of 2005. If it hadn't been for you, God, and Nikki Flowers, I would be like all of these stuck-up jerks here in Cambridge who think they are all that. My deepest apologies for being mean to you all those years. I didn't realize how mean I was until I came up here and saw how people took my niceness for granted. Hope you are all doing great. I miss all of you so much. Even though I didn't walk across the stage with you, you are still my classmates. I didn't mean to abandon all of you at the last minute, but you have to understand, I had no choice but to quit so I could work for a living. I graduated May 19th, 2005 from Christway Academy in DeRidder, LA. Well, I would love to hear from and keep in touch with all of you. So give me a hollar.

The worst thing about the .edu internet was data rot (a form of link rot) where resources and knowledge went into the vapor every semester.
